CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY DIOCESE OF INDIA – CMDI is at the vision of its Founder & First Vicar General Rev. Dr. J. Solomon, moving with abiding concern over the independent servants of God and on the poor and downtrodden people of India with love and compassion. He received God’s calling for His matchless services in the year 1990 and dedicated his life for the gracious calling. He was an independent servant of God, he underwent many personal experiences both spiritually and worldly and in each occasion, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ filled him with the thirst to dedicate his life by contemplating the upliftment of the independent servants of God. His exposure as an independent servant of God for over 20 years provoked his heart and induced a fervent compassion over other servants of God in similar line of attack. Rev. Dr. J. Solomon is still enjoying the pleasure in pain, by making frequent travels throughout the country, visiting the independent servants of God voluntarily wherever they are, assess their spiritual and domestic requirements and support those deserving servants and their families and taking efforts to fulfill the needs to his possible outlay. This abiding concern over the servants of God, who are unable to achieve their vision and mission, has brought into contemplation to institute a safe haven for the independent servants of God, which should continue its services till the end of this earth. Inspite of other committed services, the priority of CMDI goes to equipping and empowering the servants of God to the very purpose for which they have been called for.
